Hearing the word “December” rarely conjures up thoughts of poolside drinks and sunshine. We get it, with holiday music playing everywhere and that wonderful shopping season upon us it can be tough to sit back and enjoy the in-between time. Luckily for you we here at Harrah’s Resort SoCal are experts at taking a little R&R and we’re always eager to show our guests what SoCal winters are all about. Toss away those scarfs and mittens and see why we’re swapping sweater weather for pool weather. This week we’re sipping on the Strawberry Mule ‘rita!

INGREDIENTS
1.75 oz. Orange peel infused tequila
.75 oz. Honey
2 oz. Strawberry Puree
1.5 oz. Lime Juice
Ice
Ginger Beer
Equipment
Cocktail Shaker
Cocktail Strainer
Margarita Glass
DIRECTIONS
1. Combine tequila, honey, strawberry puree, and lime juice into a cocktail shaker.
2. Shake to combine ingredients
3. Add ice to margarita glass
4. Pour cocktail shaker contents into margarita glass through strainer
5. Top with ginger beer
6. Garnish with fresh citrus and get to sippin!
