Dine-in the New Year

It isn’t diet season yet!

2020 is just around the corner and we’re guessing that you’re eagerly waiting to kick it to the curb. Have you made your 2022 resolution yet? Let us peer into our shiny crystal ball and take a guess. We’re seeing aspirations of self-control around the dinner table and, oh what’s this, a shiny new exercise regimen? Well done. But 2020 isn’t over yet! While that may sound like a bummer, we see it as an opportunity to enjoy the finer things in the kitchen before we complete our trip around the sun. Here’s what our Harrah’s Resort SoCal culinary wizards are dishing up on New Year’s Eve.

Mexican Holiday Meal at‘ritas Cantina

The feast at 'ritas Cantina

If you’d prefer to add some spice to your new year’s evening then look no further than Chef Homero’s offering. Grab a ladle or two of his green chicken pozole, chicken mole and a slice of Tres Leches Cake for $33.99. And maybe a margarita or two… just saying. It’s a celebration!

Turf with Double Surf at The Cafe

Surf n' Turf madness at The Cafe

One part turf and two parts surf. We start with an 8oz. New York strip steak and top it with shrimp scampi. THEN we take all of that and serve it over a Crab cake and pair it with a vegetable of the day for $28. This should give you plenty of fuel (or food coma) to ring in the new year!

Steak OR Lobster at Fiore

Whole Maine Lobster

Two options are searing up for your feasting pleasure at Fiore. The first offering is a succulent whole Maine lobster with roasted fingerling potatoes, glazed root vegetables and a decadent herbed butter for $95. If you prefer the turf over the surf we’d recommend the Chateaubriand. The what? We’re talking about the tender part of the most tender section of the tenderloin. It’s the tenderest-ist! Served with bourbon bone marrow butter and truffled shepherd's pie for $75.

These are the dishes for your new year’s wishes. Happy New Year and happy eating!
