You’ve probably noticed a bright orange whale while relaxing at the Dive Swim-up Bar or penguins dancing in colorful rain while walking into The Events Center. But have you noticed our epic wall of guitars? With so many legendary performers rocking our stage each year, our Wall Of Rock is a perfect way to drool over the axes of Rock N’ Roll royalty!
Let’s run the list. Alice Cooper, ZZ Top, BB King, Willie Nelson, Wynnona and many more grace this wall. Those are some serious rock pioneers. But don’t take our word for it. Have a look for yourself!
BB King
The Gibson Les Paul is widely known to be the axe of choice for guitar legends and who better to sign this timeless guitar than the king of blues himself BB King? A guitar legend and a legendary guitar, you couldn’t ask for a better combination! Ask any guest or Harrah’s Resort SoCal employee to choose their favorite signed guitar and more often than not you’ll hear BB’s name.
ZZ Top
Growling guitar tones, epic running solos and an awesomely bearded stage presence, ZZ Top is the epitome of cool. So what guitar is worthy of being signed by the legendary Texans? The Les Paul Junior of course! A favorite of The Beatles’ John Lennon and The Eagles’ Glenn Frey, the Epiphone Les Paul Junior and its single Humbucker pickup provides that unforgettable sound synonymous with ZZ Top.
Experience Hendrix
Name the best guitar player in the world. Ready? Go! Not easy right? Trust us, we know! But we have a feeling Jimi Hendrix probably earns the nod. Even though he never graced The Events Center stage at Harrah’s Resort SoCal with his legendary aura, his music still echoes throughout our property. Experience Hendrix is THE show to relive Jimi’s riffs and it rocks Harrah’s Resort SoCal annually. With an all-star lineup of rock royalty such as Buddy Guy, Zack Wylde and Billy Cox, it makes for one heavy-hitting autographed guitar. If you’re lucky enough, you can feast your eyes on this musical gem backstage with our performers in the Green Room before a concert. Try a backstage Meet and Greet with your favorite musician and you might be able to catch a glimpse of it!
