Summer nights just got FUNNER! Harrah’s Resort Southern California is excited to announce our partnership with SoundDiego to bring you the rockin-est pool party this side of the Lazy River!
SoundDiego Summer Splash is about to take your weekend to a whole new decibel. We are taking the musical magic you have come to expect from SoundDiego and combining it with our huge main pool, epic Swim-up Bar and endless Lazy River laps for a night of complete and utter awesome-ness!
That’s right. Live bands are coming to rock Dive to its very last drop—and this isn’t just a one-night only deal. Mark your calendars, SoundDiego Summer Splash is on the third Saturday of every month, from May through August! This sunset pool party starts at 7pm and only gets better as the sun goes down.
With two live bands hitting the stage for each show, there will be plenty of entertainment and excitement to be had. Count on a killer lineup every month, featuring one up-and-coming band to kick off the night, followed by a favorite headliner to close it out.
The lineup for our very first show on May 21 is locked in and we couldn’t be more excited! The Verigolds, a local Ocean Beach band, will open up the show with their indie-pop sound. Set your expectations high for this up-and-coming group—after all, they did win the SoundDiego Best New Artist award in 2015.
Our headliner will be joining us fresh off the release of their new album, Ocean By Ocean—released today (April 29). The British pop-rock band The Boxer Rebellion is coming across the pond to headline the night. The band has just completed full tours of North America and Europe so we’re thrilled they’ll be stopping by Harrah’s Resort SoCal to give San Diego a taste of what their very unique style of britpop has to offer.
Want to make it a complete night out? After our bands pack it up, the party continues with DJ LOS taking the stage, playing remixes of today’s hottest music until 1am.
But that’s not even the very best news. All of our SoundDiego Summer Splash events are free to hotel guests! But don’t worry, If you’re not looking to spend the night you can still purchase a ticket to the show for just $30—Lazy River access included.
